Sport relief Challenge

Naomi in her swim costume with thumbs up

Naomi signed up to complete the sport relief swim challenge. She signed up to swim 15km in September, however with the ladies county rowing championships taking place on the 14th and 15th rowing took precedence until then.

This meant the challenge was 15km in 15 days so time was a little tight. Naomi ended up swimming all over the place to try and get the metres in. She swam from Marazion, around St Michaels Mount and back, getting stung by the Mauve stinger jellyfish at the back of the mount. She has swum in lunch breaks at Penzance leisure centre and then jumped in Newquay harbour to do a few laps of the fishing boats.

She has managed to complete the challenge on the last day!!!

A huge relief that she did not let her sponsors down. If anyone would like to sponsor Naomi please follow the link below.
